If you do Kindle, then your day has arrived here at TOAM!

It's official, you can now subscribe to TOAM via Amazon's Kindle 'blog publishing' feature.

A few thoughts on this, of course.

First, I'm jealous! I don't even own a Kindle ~ so someone let me know how it looks/works!  :-}

Second, I was recently reading an article about Mom Bloggers {the ones who actually do it professionally, unlike me, using it as an escape!}

And the writer was making the point that while most Mom Bloggers won't be able to support their family from their efforts that the future of what this 'young industry' will look like is still to be determined.

I couldn't help but wonder exactly where all us Mommy Bloggers will be in a few years.

Think about this, in the 80's to be a Mom writer & published was so difficult that if you personally knew this woman you gained as much celebrity status as she did.

Nowadays though, we all are published Mom writers {via blogging} & we all have some representation of a fan base {even if our only followers are closely related!}

It was just a cool thought process that ended with the realization that the concept of 6 degrees of separation today is more like 2 or 3 degrees thanks to social media.

So back to this cool innovation of Amazon & being able to 'subscribe' to the TOAM blog monthly {$0.99/mo - btw} it's intriguing to think that in my Mother's day and age I would have brought her to celebrity status overnight from such an announcement.

However, now she would only be met with "yeah, my daughter too" as a common response.
