... yes, you read that correctly!

Life has been a little crazy ... after burying "the legend" last week & finishing up spring break it didn't seem as though much else could go wrong.

Hmmm, I should know better ...

DS#1 (the teenager) managed to misplace his wallet w/his newly earned $20 in it (along with the ASB card - this will be the 3rd time we've replaced it in the freshman year!) and today, well really yesterday, I was asked to come pick him up from school early.

Apparently, an upperclassman threatened him by holding him against the wall by the neck & flicking his knife open & shut. Now I should mention, we live in Small Town USA & while I grew up in a tough neighborhood - we moved here so this stuff wouldn't happen to our kids!

I guess the saving grace is that DS#1 has the level head of his fireman father & handled it well. I know had some punk done that to me in HS he'd still be singing in soprano! ;-)

All joking aside, I feel for this poor kid's future. Turns out he thought my DS#1 knew something about a possible break in at his girlfriend's house.

It was ALL over a girl!

Poor soul!
