How bad is the economy when the 'dollar section' in Target is on clearance?

No joke!

After the "public" part of my job I ran into Target to grab some things for the kiddos & I rounded the entrance corner to see a blaring CLEARANCE sign hangin' out in the 'dollar section'!!!!

Anyone want to weigh in on this one?
