It's official ... I'm in love!

So, I've been on the PC/Apple fence for a long {long, long, long} time.

I appreciate the quality you get from the Apple ownership "experience", but I've never been able to afford the version I really want. {thus, I'm a PC}

This spring, that may change.

How did I come across plugging this new technology? {unpaid}

In all fairness ... my email in-box :-)

I was SUPPOSE to be checking in for work related items ... but was immediately sidetracked by the Apple email. {they're ALWAYS more fun to open up!}

Once I clicked through to the site & watched the video, I was a gonner!

This thing is going to be a larger version of the iPhone! I'm guessing it will replace many of those laptop/netbooks out there.

I'm so sold, I already started thinking about how I could re-distribute the existing laptops {& one netbook} amongst family members to justify my new purchase!

My question for Apple, {under pricing}:

The lowest price is $499 for a 16GB with just Wi-Fi. And the most expensive is $829 for 64GB with Wi-Fi & 3G capabilities. Will us non AT&T users have to use their network for the 3G service? Or have you finally found the loophole to bring Apple technology to the rest of the population?

In either case, I will be one of those out there drooling ... waiting for the release date. Hopefully by then I'll have my "big" question answered & I'll have come across some extra cash that can go toward my new technology habit.

Of course, these are just some "thoughts of a Mom" in internet land :-)

It's post December holidays & time for the "gift card shopping" to rule!

I received a $100 gift card from a friend to Tar-shay. {love her!}

And was told I could choose whatever I wanted as long as it was ONLY for me {No chore, child or spouse related}

Yikes!!! That immediately made it a challenge ...

So, it got me wondering

What would you buy?

I know us Moms aren't really wired to think of ourselves first {that's why I immediately began mentally shopping the housewares department!}

But, it did get me curious ... so those of you who are better in touch with the "love thy self" theme, could you leave some comments on what you'd do?

As I was cooking dinner last night, I realized two things.

  1. I truly don't like to cook {besides I REALLY suck at it}
  2. This is when some of my best ideas surface! {well in front of the stove & in the shower ... go figure}

The "sick season" has officially arrived at my house!

DS#1 {who never really gets sick} has a chest cough that could easily become the signature sound for the Mucinex commercials!
